Lily loves to draw, especially at the local harbor. She sketches everything she sees, from boats and fishermen to sea creatures and children. Lily has a special eye for noticing things others might overlook. What may seem ordinary to most can appear extraordinary to her. However, because she is shy—and better with pictures than words—she keeps to herself and hides her drawings in her sketchbook.
But one afternoon, a gust of wind changes everything!
Julia Seal knew from the age of five that she wanted to draw pictures for a living! After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration, she worked in the greeting card industry—getting covered in glitter every day—before achieving her dream job: illustrating children's books.
Julia lives in a small village in England with her husband and two children, who provide plenty of inspiration. This is her first children's picture book.
